Terms of Service

1. What you buy

Magnet L is a one-time purchase, currently USD 19, that gives you: the Magnet LinkedIn method, readable chapter by chapter in the app and downloadable as a PDF; the fast execution toolkit and recruiter reply scripts; and 10 AI readings of your own LinkedIn profile, exported by you as a PDF, against that method. There is no subscription and no renewal.

Additional readings may be offered later as a separate purchase. A button in the app lets you tell us you want them; pressing it records that interest and does not charge you.

2. Your account

Your account is created by your purchase and tied to the email you used at checkout. You sign in with a one-time link sent to that email; there is no password. Keep access to that mailbox safe and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Licence to the method

The method, the PDF, the app content and the readings are licensed to you personally, for your own career, for as long as the Service exists. You may download the PDF for your own use. You may not copy, share, resell, publish or redistribute the method or the PDF, in whole or in part, or use them to build a competing product. The download is tied to your account.

4. AI readings

A reading analyses a PDF you upload with artificial intelligence and returns verdicts and suggested rewrites, section by section. Readings can be incomplete or wrong; review every suggestion before applying it. Magnet L does not guarantee interviews, offers, salary increases or any particular outcome.

Only upload your own LinkedIn profile export, or a profile you are authorised to review. Each reading uses one of your 10 readings; readings are limited to 3 per rolling 24 hours and one at a time. A reading that fails on our side, or a file that is not a LinkedIn profile export, is refunded to your balance automatically, up to a reasonable number of times.

5. Nothing connects to LinkedIn

Magnet L never connects to your LinkedIn account and never posts, messages, invites or changes anything on it. You export the PDF and apply every change yourself. Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn's own User Agreement. Magnet L is an independent product, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation or Microsoft.

6. Payment and refunds

Payment is processed by Stripe; we never store your full card number. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. If you ask within 7 days of purchase and have neither downloaded the PDF nor run a reading, we refund the purchase in full. After that, or once the PDF has been downloaded or a reading has run, the purchase is final, except where the law gives you a right we cannot exclude.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share your sign-in link or account, or the PDF, with anyone else;
• upload files that are not yours to review, or content that is unlawful or harmful;
• attempt to bypass the reading limits or the paywall, or to extract the method through the reading;
• reverse engineer, scrape or resell the Service.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties: Stripe for payments, Anthropic for the AI readings, our email provider for sign-in links, and our hosting and database providers. Their terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their availability.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, the method and all content (other than files you upload) belong to Joinx and its licensors. These Terms grant the personal licence in section 3 and nothing more.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joinx is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app, which removes your readings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. If we discontinue the Service, we will give you notice and time to download the PDF. Sections 3, 4 and 9 to 14 survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email you or show a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law where you live.
