Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what Joinx Technologies Inc ("Joinx", "we", "us"), the Florida company that operates Magnet L, does with your personal data. Magnet L never connects to your LinkedIn account; the only profile data we see is the PDF you choose to upload for a reading.

1. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account data: the email you used at checkout, your language, and sign-in links that work once and expire in 15 minutes.
  • Purchase data: Stripe processes your card and gives us the payment status, the amount and the checkout session id. We never store your full card number.
  • Reading data: the PDF you upload is processed for the reading and deleted right after; we keep the reading result (verdicts, rewrites, score), the target role you typed and the date, so you can see your history.
  • Product events: which buttons you press inside the app, such as "Buy 10 more readings", with your account id and a timestamp.
  • Technical data: server logs with IP address, browser and the pages requested, kept briefly for security and debugging.

2. How we use it

We use your data to:

  • give you access to the method, the PDF and the readings you bought;
  • produce each reading with our AI provider and show you the result;
  • send sign-in links and, if needed, service emails about your purchase;
  • count product events so we can decide what to build next (for example, whether to sell more readings);
  • prevent abuse of the readings, keep the Service secure and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing

To produce a reading we send the PDF you uploaded, the target role you typed and the method text to our AI provider, Anthropic. Under its API terms, Anthropic does not use that data to train its models. We send nothing else about you. The reading result is stored in your account; the PDF is not.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not show ads. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract:

  • Anthropic (AI readings, as described above);
  • Stripe (payments);
  • Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database);
  • Resend (sign-in and service emails).

5. Legal disclosures

We may disclose data when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, to protect the rights, safety and property of Joinx, our customers or the public, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

6. How long we keep data

Your account, purchase and readings are kept while your account exists, so your access is permanent. You can delete your account from the app at any time: readings and account data are removed within 30 days; purchase records are kept, anonymised, for the period tax and accounting law requires. Uploaded PDFs are deleted as soon as the reading finishes. Server logs are kept for 30 days.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. There are no passwords to leak: sign-in uses one-time links tied to the email you bought with, and the method PDF is served only to signed-in buyers. No system is perfectly secure; keep your mailbox protected with a strong password and two-factor authentication.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. This includes rights under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the GDPR where it applies. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email support@magnetlinkedin.com from the address on your account. Deleting your account is available directly in the app.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there and in the countries where our providers operate. When we transfer data from other countries, we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to tie your checkout to your browser, and one for your language. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The marketing site uses no cookies at all.

11. Children

The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. For material changes we will email you or show a notice in the app before they take effect. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
